The whole church is called to continue the work of Jesus by renewing, redeeming, and restoring our world. One of the simplest, most significant ways we can do this is by opening our homes to others and welcoming them into our lives. In this message and panel discussion among core culture carriers within our church, we dive into the profound impact of radical hospitality, sharing stories of personal transformation and community building through open-hearted generosity. Whether you're in college, married, or single, everyone can set the table for someone else, building connections that transcend differences and showcase the very heart of Jesus' teaching.

Jesus is the Good Shepherd who seeks his lost sheep and brings them home. As friends of Jesus, this should bring us great joy. As followers of Jesus, sent by our Father and empowered by the Holy Spirit to join Jesus' mission, his love should motivate us to go seek lost sheep, too. But how do we do it? And what kind of heart ought we have in the process? Listen now to learn more.

Jesus' story doesn't end on Easter. The Church's story begins.
After his resurrection, Jesus breathes the Holy Spirit into his disciples and sends us out to redeem, restore, and renew the world he died for. Each of us has been uniquely gifted to carry out this mission in many ways as we await Jesus' return, but before we start "doing the stuff" we must check our motivations and remember our identity.
To prepare our hearts for the mission before us, we ask two questions as we enter a new season together at All Saints: Who sent you? And what Spirit are you under?

Jesus of Nazareth claimed to be the Son of God and promised all who believe in him eternal life. For those claims, he was betrayed, crucified, killed, and buried by the very people he came to save. Then something unexpected happened: Three days later, his tomb was found empty. This fact created confusion for his disciples in their predawn discovery as they wrestled with what this might mean. Two thousand years later, we too must respond to this fact. Thankfully, the resurrected Jesus appears to tell us exactly what it means: He is risen. Death is defeated. The dawn has come at last.

This Palm Sunday, Pastor Sarah Beckman takes on a deep dive into the significance of Jesus' choices and actions leading up to his triumphal entry into Jerusalem. The message challenges us to find ourselves in the crowd and question our own motives for following Jesus. As we do, we can take comfort in the fact that each step of his journey was intentional, and each step brought us further down the road to resurrection.

What do you give to the Person who has given you everything and needs nothing from you? How should we respond to the sacrificial love and life-giving power Jesus displays in our lives? What should the church be known for? Mary of Bethany answers all these questions with one radical, costly act of love and worship as she pours out her life at Jesus' feet. She is the model disciple who shows each of us the only appropriate way to respond to the gospel: with everything we have.

Everybody is looking for Jesus, but why? To respond to his life-giving work with trust? Or to reject his authority wherever his agenda goes against our own? Reflecting on John 11:45-57, Pastor Evan Wickham of Park Hill Church explores how our inner motives often blind us to the truth of Jesus as we spin reality to fit our stories instead of his. Yet the Holy Spirit stands ready to lead us into deeper trust for Jesus as we confess our need and take steps of faith, even when it costs us our old ideas and prior commitments. And the good news remains: Jesus' way is better.

The story of Mary, Martha, and Lazarus reaches its dramatic conclusion as Jesus raises his beloved friend from the grave. This story both recounts a historical miracle and reveals a deeply spiritual gospel truth: Dead things don't stay dead around Jesus. With a word from his mouth, Jesus calls each of us out of our hopeless situations and into new life. Will we "hope against hope" and cooperate with his mighty work in the world so that others see his glory, too?

Jesus doesn’t abandon, punish, or shame us for our grief; instead, he grieves with us. Jesus knows that hope and new life await us on the other side of our trials and tragedies, but he doesn’t rush our process; instead, he gives permission and presence on the way to the promise. Jesus is good, and his mercy endures forever. May he meet you right where you are so you may know you are never alone or abandoned. Listen now to learn more.

On the road to resurrection, Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead–a costly decision that prefigures Jesus' own path to the cross. But even though we know the end of the story, we cannot skip the hard parts. Before the miracle comes the praying, the suffering, the uncertainty, the longing, the grief. Jesus enters our human experience to redeem these parts of our stories, too.
In response to the great and costly love God demonstrates in the narrative of Lazarus, Mary, and Martha, the church today can have full confidence in God's power to save and desire to make himself known in our trials. That's why we can send for Jesus in our suffering, trust God's character when he feels far away, and have courage to choose compassion over comfort as we enter the suffering of others.
