No Need Among Us

From our series, "Sermon on the Mount." Jesus' teaches us the greater way of doing right to one another in every area of life, including how we manage our finances. In Matthew 6:1-4, we discover that Jesus expects us to give generously to those in need and corrects our motivations for doing so–not to please people or win temporary praise, but to please God and receive eternal rewards. As always, the life he invites us into is for our flourishing. And as we follow him, we are called to help others flourish as well.
