From our series "Ephesians." Family dynamics are often complex and bittersweet as beauty meets brokenness in our most intimate relationships. The apostle Paul knows this, too, which is why his subversive and hopeful message to parents and children at Ephesus points us to Jesus' ideal vision for the families we're born into, and the chosen family we find at church as well.
Children hear God's heart behind obedience and honor, which includes God's blessing and desire to heal wounds and restore relationships. Parents hear God's call to nurture and guide their children as we share personal anecdotes and practical advice on how to enter your child's story, lead by example, and discipline with love. The message extends to the broader church community, encouraging everyone to step in and fill the gaps where family relationships may be broken or lacking.
Whether you're a parent, child, or part of the church community, God's word offers valuable insights into how we can all grow in love, honor, and obedience, creating a legacy that reflects the very heart of our perfect Father.

From our series "Ephesians." Submission is a dirty word in our culture, as we tend to reject authority and resist commitment at all costs. But just as Jesus redefines the image and aim of love on the Cross, so too does he redefine the ways we view power and use authority. As we walk in love together with him, we are called to imitate this new and beautiful way of being human that leaves no part of our lives untouched–including our relationships. This week, we focus on submission and love in community and marriage. God's vision is better than the broken versions our cultures offer. Don't settle for anything less.

From our series "Ephesians." The apostle Paul calls us to imitate God as beloved children, walking in self-giving, others-oriented, obedient love just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us on the cross. We do this not to earn God's affection or keep a bunch of arbitrary rules, but rather because we are light: new creations becoming more and more like Jesus as we follow him away from the self-centered loves of our culture and deeper into this new identity God has given us. So let's walk wisely by giving ourselves to God's Spirit, God's mission, and God's people.

From our series "Ephesians." After laying a deep theological foundation, Paul turns his pen to describing what a practical Christian life looks like. As the Gospel transforms us from living how we want to living how God wants us to live, we are reminded that we've been given an entirely new life in Jesus that we must 'put on' as we walk beside him. And this new life is full of hope, purpose, and meaning amidst a broken and sometimes meaningless world.

From our series, "Ephesians." In Ephesians 4, Paul urges the church to walk worthy of the calling we've received in Christ, which is the incredible fact that God has chosen us, his church, for himself, forever. The way we live our lives should honor this good news as we mature to become more like Jesus. God helps us do this through unique people-gifts Christ gives the church who help us grow in the right direction, towards love and unity, as they equip us to do the work Jesus calls all of his disciples to do.
P.S. The first few minutes got cut off, but the message starts at a great spot!

From our series "Ephesians." As we learn how the Gospel story transforms our stories, Paul makes the message personal for the Ephesian church. Jewish and non-Jewish Christians worshiped together, as one new family, but treating folks from different cultures as brothers and sisters is harder than it sounds–even though Christ has already united us on the cross through his blood. Sometimes, in our deeply broken world, this truth feels impossible to live out. Thankfully, we've been given the same Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. And He empowers us to be the peacemakers Jesus calls us to be.

From our series "Ephesians." We were dead in sin, but God made us alive in Christ, seating us above the evil powers that be and freeing us from our own disordered desires that lead us away from Him. In this new way of being, God calls us to follow the Good King Jesus by accepting the free gift of life and doing the good works God has called us to do. This is the life that satisfies, and its all because God loves us.
